Mama's who are Makers

Being a mom and a maker is probably one of the hardest things I've attempted to tackle.
It's hard because I want to be the best at both things! But how can I juggle getting ten orders out and loving on my two (2 and under!) babies?

I've learned to really separate work from family time. And for me that works.

So usually during the day I will take 30 min to photograph any new products I have made up. And for daytime work that's it.

But when my kids go to bed thats when the making begins! I package up orders, finish up jewelry, and spend the evening looking up new pieces to create and bring into your hands.

It's not an easy life, but it's mine. And I love it.

My children are the joy of my life. Nothing will ever compare to the happiness and completeness they make me feel.

So while this little business has brought me so much clarity and focus on who I am, and who I'm becoming.

My babies will always be what makes me, me. And while I type that I'm crying.

And I'm not ashamed.

Here's to all the Mama's who love their babies.

I hope to start a series soon for Mama's who are makers. So you can learn about the people behind your favorite products!
